Loop at Login
I am facing issue with Mikrotik authentication with the system.
We configured everything and finally we have accessed from Miktorik router redirected us to our server , we filled out email information and it redirected us back to the Mikrotik device. Afterward mikrotik device has the success case in parameters. Then in URL section there is the userurl = http://x.x.x.x/mikrotik/postauth/xxxxxxxxxx/ and the server redirected to the http://x.x.x.x/mikrotik/auth .. url and send back us to mikrotik server again, and this loop is endless.
In the meantime if we try we are ok to use Internet but the User Experience were terrible.
How we can fix the issue that successful post authentication will end not going in to loop?
The Mikrotik server is sending these values to the server for post authentication.:
- res: success
- mac: mac address of the device
- uid: empty
- userurl: http://x.x.x.x/mikrotik/postauth/xxxxxxx/
- nasid: Identity of the device we have setted on server
- uamip: Local IP address of mikrotik device x.x.x.x:80
- uamport: mikrotik
- error: empty
- chap-id: $(chap-id) - this value exactly look like this
- chap-challenge: $(chap-challenge) - this value exactly look like this
Do you have any idea? We would like to buy pro licenses but we cannot even get correct User experience.
@Gokhan-Darcan Sounds like there is something wrong with radius authentication.
Is there any firewall that blocks radius ports on spotipo?
Can you have a look at the console log in Mikrotik ? It should say some more info
We already open the ports for communication.
I will have a look on mikrotik logs and spotipo logs, do you have any other suggestions?
@Gokhan-Darcan Can you please post the mikrotik log during authentication?
Here is the log, as I said mikrotik created connection in success, but in some reason the indefinite loop created by the remote spotipo server. Even mikrotik said it is in success , spotipo take it not authenticated.
Any idea? I am going to check also the spotipo logs
I took the spotipo server log and actually I couldn't see particular reason on the logs about the indefinite loop.
@Gokhan-Darcan Strange, everything looks fine. What about rest of the logs ? Does it say anything ?
Rest of the log the same things written I didn’t want to paste here. Is there anyrhing we can do increase log level detail to understand better?
@Gokhan-Darcan May be try with debug level log on Mikrotik. It might provide an idea of what's going on.
Go to System -> Logging and add a new log rule
