Facebook check in
I succesfully configured the facebook check in as shown in the tutorial.
This all works fine in the demo but when we try it we get the message:
URL blocked: This redirect failed because the redirection URI was not added to the whitelist in the Client OAuth settings of the app. Make sure Client and Web OAuth login are on and add all your app domains as valid OAuth Redirect URIs.
now we have added all our app domains in the facebook app so this shouldn't be a problem.
does anybody have a solution?
here are some screenshots of my settings if that helps.
yes but when i decode the url i get http://18.104.22.168/fb/login/check/ instead of https and my domain name.
@Robin-Hindryckx Check your router configuration, seems you have used IP instead of domain name there.
this spotipo and unifi controller are being hosted on a vultr droplet.
or do you mean the unifi controller?
update: now i can't even reach the facebook logon page
recertified my server (with the webroot this time and followed https://docs.spotipo.com/getting-started/enable-ssl )
but now i get this an error that i need to log in to a site when i try to connect with the captive portal wifi and i don't get the fb login screen anymore.
@Robin-Hindryckx Are you configuring IP as SERVERADDRESS in https://docs.spotipo.com/article/49b73se6qb-configure-unifi-with-spotipo#enable_redirection_to_spotipo ?
yes it is configured to my domain.
i cleared my cache (i'm stupid for not doing this sooner) and now i can get to the facebook page again but it still gives me the url error, weird thing is. My ssl is there but when i'm on the landing page the site still says it's not secure (it still has a ssl certificate given by let's encrypt), but after a reload it changes to secure.
But that's a problem for tomorrow, i guess you'll be hearing from me again
