UniFi controller and spotipo in different network
will a setup with unifi controller in local network and spotipo in cloud work ? i have working spotipo server in cloud and several sites with local unifi controller.
@Igor-Klimashin It can work as long as spotipo can reach your controller over port 8443
so only following ports should be open
- port 8443 to reach unifi controller
- port 80 to reach spotipo (redirect url)
shouldn't it ?
except 80 and 443, rest are to be enabled on controller
Rakesh, really has doubt
why u need telnet, http, and htpps.
i dont want to open unifi from outsite, it is only for local APs
even i think in my scenario 8080 is also not required. it is for ap inform, to communicate between devices and controller.
8081 unifi.shutdown.port - do u need ?
8080 Port used for device and controller communication. ?
8443 Port used for controller GUI/API as seen in a web browser
8880 Port used for HTTP portal redirection.
8843 Port used for HTTPS portal redirection.
@Igor-Klimashin I was talking about opening firewall ports for the controller. In you case, I guess only 8443 needs to be exposed to "outside"
sure 8880 and 8843 (redirection ports) no need ?
@Igor-Klimashin 8880 will be used by the clients inside your network, they first gets redirected to Unifi's internal portal on 8880 and then to spotipo.
@rakesh-mukundan thanks a lot
no more doubt
